WebMar 30, 2008 · framing nailer won't fire. My relatively new dewalt framing nailer is not firing. Whenever I pull the trigger, air just rushes out from around the trigger and the gun does not fire. The air will hiss out as long as I hold the trigger. This is not a seal problem, I don't think, as there is no leak when I don't use the gun, only when I try to fire.
