WebJan 15, 2015 · an aftermarket 44 in the front at least. you could get one built with a locker and the gears you want, slap it in, regear the rear 44 and you are set. as for engine performance, your best bet is a lower gear ratio. not sure what your jeep came with, but for 40's I would suggest 5.13's.
